Caterforce welcomes the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust as a new charity partner

Caterforce is delighted to welcome the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT) as a new charity partner, alongside The Burnt Chef Project, which we have proudly championed for several years.
CAFT provides free day visits and holidays for terminally ill, disabled and disadvantaged children from across the North West. Its centre is based at a farmhouse in Altrincham, surrounded by 10 acres of woodland.
The facilities include a petting farm, allotment, arts and crafts centre, sports hall, adventure woodland and accommodation for families. Together, they provide a joyful and inclusive environment where children of all abilities can have fun, enjoy new experiences and make lasting memories with their loved ones.
As part of our commitment to both charity partners, Caterforce will make a donation from the proceeds of this year’s conference to CAFT and The Burnt Chef Project, supporting their vital work in our local community and across the hospitality industry.
Our support for CAFT has already begun. Last week, members of the Caterforce team visited the charity to deliver a donation of surplus products from photography shoots and product testing at our office. We were delighted to find a worthwhile home for the products while learning more about CAFT and the difference it makes.
The partnership will continue in December, when several members of our team will volunteer for the day to help with the Christmas parties. These festive events give children the opportunity to enjoy seasonal activities, meet Father Christmas, receive a gift and make special memories.
Continuing our support for The Burnt Chef Project
We have championed The Burnt Chef Project for several years and remain committed to supporting its vital work across the hospitality industry.
The Burnt Chef Project works to challenge the stigma surrounding mental health in hospitality and create a healthier, happier and more sustainable industry. It provides free mental health support, education and practical resources for hospitality professionals, alongside workplace training and wellbeing services for businesses.
With four in five hospitality professionals reporting that they have experienced at least one mental health issue during their careers, the organisation’s work remains critically important. Its confidential support services are available free of charge, 24 hours a day, helping hospitality workers access assistance when they need it most.
We are incredibly proud to continue championing The Burnt Chef Project while beginning this exciting new partnership with CAFT. By supporting both organisations through conference proceeds, donations and volunteering, we hope to make a meaningful difference to children and families in our local community and to people throughout the hospitality industry.
