Our focus in 2022 is to work collaboratively with our members and suppliers to create better and more supportive business relationships.

We got off to a great start this month with the Caterforce board meeting and a tour around the depot of our newest member, Dunsters Farm.

This was followed by a Group Marketing meeting in Manchester at the Digital City Expo, where we heard from some fantastic speakers about the metaverse and gamification for B2B.

By working collaboratively with our nine members marketing teams we have been able to offer suppliers the opportunity to push their products and grow their sales across the group. Lucy Boland, Group Marketing Manager said “We launched group digital campaigns in 2021 and the results were fantastic. We have improved the packages in 2022 to incorporate the sales teams, thereby offering suppliers the opportunity to influence customers at every stage of their buying journey both online and offline and we expect to see an even bigger return on investment this year.”

And this week our Buying teams were out and about meeting new suppliers and tasting new products (below). Our Supplier Presentation Days are always hugely popular and a great way to network with key decision makers across the group.
